The worst golf course I've ever been on. It needs to shut down. The greens are so burned up, I can't believe this place is open. Fairways aren't worth watering. I can't believe they charge people to play there. The owner, management, are always in ugly bad moods. They're not friendly at all. I wouldn't advise anyone to go play there. Spend your money on any other golf course, I promise you'll be happy you did. I'm not sure why the city doesn't help out and take over the maintenance on this place. I just felt like I needed to give everyone I could, a heads up.

Unique cast and crew out there. They actually have been listening to their patrons and the reviews. I wonder if anyone else bothered to ask what was going on. The negatives of the past, warranted or not, are exactly that now...the past. Well worth giving them another round. After my visit the other day, to me, i believe the corner has been turned. Helpful, professional, and friendly. Committed to elevating their game, and yours. A little bit still to polish before earning a 5 star, but no where near the petty single star response I've seen by others. Unless of course you don't like down to Ear…

Great Time! Went there with a group of 7 friends from work and we were all pleasantly surprised. I have lived in South Lakeland for about 3 years and was happy to see the positive changes that had been made. It's a work in progress, but the course was in great shape compared to just 6 months ago when we had all played there last. New management has done strong work including landscaping and a new restaurant. We were even serenaded as we ate after the round by a woman with an amazing voice. And the value at 25$ is still by far the best around. I look forward to visiting there again, and I've ta…

Horrible course which sucks because the layout is nice and was in good shape many years back. I called to see how the course condition was and was told in excellent condition. Greens are like parking lots and my backyard is maintained better than most of the tee boxes. $25 twilight rate is a ripoff would be better around $10-$15

Hands down, the worst course ive ever played. Cost 25$ to play and I wouldn’t go back if they paid me the 25$. Sand in the middle of the greens, grass in the bunkers. Fairway grass is so tall, that you can hit a perfect drive and still lose a ball. The “rough” is just uncut and unmaintained and is on average 1-2 ft tall. Clubhouse is disgusting. Bathroom walls and floors have holes in them. No decent cart paths, just mud trails. Tee boxes are nothing but weeds. The list goes on and on. Save your money.

They golf course is really out of shape!!! The greens has holes from bird's searching for worms. throughout all of holes. I will definitely not be golf there anymore.. we went after 2pm and they charge $25 each.

My husband and I had our Gender reveal here today. We went in knowing from our phone conversation with John the owner that it was 40$ an hour for the room. After we cleaned and paid he then decided it was 60$ an hour and that 40$ never would have come out of his mouth. So now the Bartender who was absolutely fabulous didn’t get a tip because we had 120 planned out. I would NEVER recommend this place. He was very rude to us about it but unfortunately we didn’t sign a contract with him so there was nothing we could do otherwise we would have. Don’t even waist your time here

In its heyday this course was one of the best in the central Florida and still has the best layout of any course in the area. The new management is dedicated to bringing this beautiful course back to life. Definitely worth checking out and the greens fee's are reasonably priced.

Under new management.only 3 months into the process. So much has been done. Much to do.. but give it a bit of time and everything will be done. Greens are so improved that the most recent league that played said 'best greens in the area'. Worth seeing the changes for yourself for sure!!

Horrible. I took my young son out there to ride along while I played. I went to pay for my round and the guy behind the counter just looked at me while pointing to a sign in front of him that said no kids under 10 are allowed on the course. All he was going to do was ride with me in the cart. The guy behind the counter had an attitude like I should have known better. Another course down the road in much better condition gladly allowed my son to ride along. No wonder nobody wants to play at this dump.

So much potential but so unkept. You can tell ownership doesn't particularly care about the course or the country club based on the upkeep or lack there of. At the very least they could clean up the parking lot for the residents of Imperial Lakes. The facility is an eye sore.

Course is fun to play, greens were just seeded and need to fill in, carts were good, price is good. Club house was very nice at one time. Now it is aged. Would play again
