Visit on July 18th was amazing, steak with a loaded potato and hearty smokey ribs with mashed potatoes and gravy. 100% Perfect! Visit 3 weeks later to order the ribs again and was very disappointed with portion size and taste of the new sauce that was really sweet & vinegar strong more like sweet and sour than bbq, however the fries were perfect. Specifically asked about the mayo to dip fries into and unfortunately allergy to miracle whip/whipped dressing, were told they use specifically mayonnaise but the dressing that was brought out was an off white colour and sickly sweet unlike mayonnais…

We went to check it on the first open day and it was too busy to eat. Much improved from the last visit several years ago. The patio looks awesome for when the sun is shining. The golf course looks good for casual players.

Cool spot. Did a bunch of renos. Food is good. Lits of parking and sled there in the winter.

Very disappointed in J and his staff. We have been to Homestead literally hundreds of times over the past +10yrs, but not this year yet so stopped by Tuesday night for quick supper/drinks and had our 2 year old yellow Lab along. After waiting 20 minutes on patio, the waitress (after I called to her), came over with menu than informed us that dogs weren't welcomed on the patio. There was only one other couple on the far side of the patio and we have had our dog there on previous visits without incident. Wow!!! What a hidden Gem. Going through some backwards gravel roads made me wonder of my decision. The course challenging but pleasantly easy to play. The mature trees, the rolling hills and the smell of the flowers give you a complete relaxation. The grounds keeper is a master. Highly recommend by me, a very lousy golfer that loves the game.

Went here for dinner , the restaurant was very clean, waited quite a while for our orders to be taken, then when orders did come all of the steaks at the table were not cooked right , overcooked , unfortunately I could not even eat mine because it was so tough and cooked to almost well done when I asked for medium rare. Chicken and feta salad is incredible Juicy chicken breast, lots of feta, nice variety of veggies in the salad. So good.

Called earlier to see if we required a reservation with no answer and after driving and hour and a half finding out there was a private function. Sadly we won't be back.

Always been great food , go their as a weekly guest to enjoy their menu. Started a strict diet and asked if they could accommodate it if it wasn't too much to ask and they went above and beyond. Thanks again to the chef as well as the server for taking their time to work around my dietary restrictions

Paid to play 18 holes but it’s only 14. The course map and score card have the wrong map on it. We got so lost and turned around we had to flag down the groundskeeper who personally lead us to the correct hole. The scorecard, course map and website photos of the course are outdated and need to be updated for any newcomer to follow the course accurately. The old man inside the clubhouse was completely clueless for 5 minutes that anyone had arrived to golf, had to do the old fake cough to get his attention.
