Hockley Valley Resort & Golf Course

Fantastic place for a work and leisure retreat. I stayed in a double occupancy room and it was spacious and clean. My friends who had a single room/suite had a much larger space. We enjoyed the amenities throughly, the breakfast buffet had great selections, and the property was fun to explore. We had a great stay overal and a memorable time. We look forward to coming back in the summer to try their golf course and winery.

We've been going to Hockley for day ski trips pretty regularly for 3 or 4 years now. It's great for us because it's v close to Toronto and great for kids (modest hills, enthusiastic staff, etc.). PLUS it has great ski instructors for adults if you want to tune up your skiing while your kids are in class. Earlier this season (Winter 2026) I took a lesson with a great instructor named Camden, and in an hour he had me skiing down stuff that I thought was at least a year away for me. (And I've had good experiences with other instructors as well.) Highly recommend!!

We were there for a hockey tournament and some skiing. Truly disappointing to eat at Babbo’s! If they are trying to be Italian with the ‘inspired’ part they truly need to go do their research! We ordered a ‘share’ deli and cheese platter the only thing on the platter was bread! Said 3 meats and 2 cheeses what they forgot to tell u was when they sliced the meat it would be ALL fat! And not meat! (I took pics) as an Italian this was truly an insult the deli fridge they showcase and cheese room on the side are strictly for show because none of that was in my platter- again only bread! Great day. Hadn’t skied in 30 years and fell within 5 minutes. Couldn’t get up but a student on a ski trip took off his skis and helped him up. How good was that. My wife had old boots and they broke. The rental shop gave her a pair of boots no charge for the rest of the day. After several runs, Jamie at the Bar made it a trifecta with great service and conversation. It was a special day all around. Thanks again

I would say that the spa is worth going to alone, however the hotel itself needs some updating for the rates paid. If going back I would stay nearby and only go to the spa. However I am not a skier so if that's something you enjoy, they have nice hills. The staff were friendly overall. Unfortunately I booked during a weekend when there was a wedding going on, so the hotel was packed with children who were very noisy on both nights, as well as in the morning. Rooms were Ok, nothing special for the price, was there for an event so requested no room turn down during my stay. When it came to check out realized my wallet was missing (no room safe) and was told that I could not go back into the room, even though I had checked out 5 mins ago on a Tuesday morning - Red Flag - and housekeeping would look after it. I requested a detailed report of who had accessed the room since I had not required any room service, turn down or cleaning so technically nobody should have been in the room but me, any staff would leave an electronic signature. Our daughter called last week to book 4 massages, 4 reflexology, dinner and 2 rooms. ABSOLUTELY NOT ONE CALL BACK. Left several messages. I am in customer service related profession, and I would be appalled no return call. From the Monday to the Thursday not one call for anyone of those bookings. My name is Diane Patterson and I expect a reply from someone in higher Management. With what I do for a living I have recommended your resort many times, not again.

What happened to the ski experience??? We used to ski here and always had a great time. Today there were 4 runs open and you charged full price. the sign in the ticket office said 50%off but this was not honoured. When I questioned this the staff member took the sign down and said “no” The fire pits outside were not lit, there was no music and no atmosphere. The staff were not friendly or helpful. They were not even trained in how to call the ski patrol when asked. My daughter had to take the radio from the staff in the ticket office and call the ski patrol herself. From the front desk to the restaurant staff, housekeeping, the chef, and everyone who served in the hall, you were all absolutely amazing. Went skiing and had a great time with family and friends. Very good people working at the ski resort. We had an incident with one of the kids getting hurt and the medical staff were very helpful and caring. Highly recommend skiing here.

Five stars for my kids’ ski experience at Hockley! Parker was amazing. If you have beginners, make sure you ask for Parker he’s incredible.

We stayed at Hockley Valley Resort for our anniversary and my husband’s birthday, and it was truly amazing. The resort itself is beautiful, with peaceful surroundings, cozy rooms, and lovely facilities. We especially enjoyed the pools and nature walks—it was so relaxing. We had dinner at Babbo and it was excellent—delicious food, beautiful presentation, and such a warm atmosphere. Even My Husband ordered one more burger.
