In summary

Henryetta Golf & Country Club is appreciated for its scenic setting, friendly staff, and well-maintained greens, making it a pleasant destination for golf and events. The course layout, particularly its challenging par 5s, receives positive feedback, though some visitors note issues with the fairways and the presence of rocks. Criticisms include inconsistent customer service, slow pace of play, and a lack of clear yardage markers.

Accidently indicated 18 holes. There are only 9. The fairways are hit and miss for decent grass. Lots of crabgrass, and some areas have shallow turf with typical Oklahoma sandstone beneath. Greens are kept decent for Bermuda, but they're very small for the most part. I do like the elevation changes, and the young lady working the desk and concession was very helpful.

First time here. The young lady working the clubhouse was friendly and courteous, however she did not know the way to the first hole (said she was new). As mentioned in other posts, small greens and lots of rocks on the course. Greens were soaking wet, making putting a challenge. Overall, pricing should be in the $25-$30 range, not the $44 that was charged.

The only thing good about the course was the staff. The worst part, over the fairways that looked like plowed fields, we’re the local members. They were very rude and very aggressive. The owner should consider having a talk with their members before they drive all visitors away.

Nice 9 hole course but not many yardage markers. I have been there 3 times to play golf and I must say they are consistent In the club house. All 3 times it seemed the lady was annoyed that she had to deal with a customer. It sure is easy to thank a customer for coming in to support the golf course so you have a job.

8-16-2024 I went to get a bucket of balls for the driving range at 7:50am and nobody was there so they say they are open every day at 7:30 I started to leave when I was passed by a little SUV headed back in. I turned around and went back and when the young lady got out of the car I could tell she was having a bad day by the snore on her face. She never said anything just started pulling carts out. I waited in my truck until she got up towards the front door. I walked up to the front door. She turned around and said School is back in session. I won’t be here till 8 o’clock until school is out.…

First time playing here, welcoming staff, decent pricing, fair layout, loved the greens, challenging par 5’s, although I parred all of them, overall great little nine hole course. Might consider lowering cart fee in winter

What a gem in rural Oklahoma. This little course is in top shape as many still struggle from the freeze last winter and recent dry spell. Tee boxes, fairways and greens all just like their pictures. And a great value!
