I played here in 2024 when renovations were very much underway. I was in Bethel for Phish, and on the drive from Boston I listened to a podcast featuring Tom talking about renovating a course in the Catskills. I figured I’d check it out and I’m glad I did. Despite the rain that weekend, and even with the excavation equipment and exposed earth at every turn, i could see the reason TC felt so compelled to put in the effort for a full restoration. This place is packed with charm - seriously, how many courses have you played that have a periscope? And that extends to the pro shop. Unfortunately i…

Let’s be honest, this is not the course you play to experience pure greens and tight fairways…yet. But, it’s getting better and better everyday. The renovations over the last few years are settling in. This is where you go to relax, have fun, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Catskills. The new layout is great. Lots is choices, risk/reward, and can use every club in the bag. Even if golf ain’t your thing the hang at Otto’s is worth a stop. And, maybe you can try a few whacks around the putting course.

Beautiful course, impeccably managed greens without a single damaged area on any of the greens. Great rates, very friendly staff. No pressure environment and no rude people playing up on you in a rush. We're far from pros but felt the wide open fairways were very accommodating for us as true amateurs. Taking a break to enjoy some wildlife in the woods was beautiful. Only complaint is the layout was a little confusing for me to navigate since it was our first time on the course, but the map on the scorecard was more than ample once my wife told me to stop being a man and follow the directions.…

Really fun short technical course with great views. Despite lots of rain recently and it being early in the season, the course was well maintained. If it's your first time here, be sure to pick up the course guide for maps and helpful tips!

Wonderful, historic old course that plays through amazing scenery. Quirky features and good, old-school conditions.

This place is great for what it currently is, and will be even more amazing once the new routing gets fully grown in. Don’t listen to the two people griping about the price - it’s only $25 to walk nine holes, which you should be doing here anyway instead of riding!

We had an office party here and the space is great with a fireplace. Food was very good.

Easily the worst shape I’ve ever seen a golf course. Embarrassing they’re asking $50 for nine holes in this condition. Throw some flags in any open field and you’ll have a better time

Staff are friendly, but course is in extremely rough shape. Half the holes are up there in the top 10 worst conditioning I've ever seen. Not excusable with what they charge, around 40 a person for 9 holes. Sad part is the best hole is probably the 9th which I was told is being torn up to make space for a new part of the club.
