In summary

Green Acres Golf & Recreation Club is often praised for its challenging course layout and well-maintained greens, with many visitors appreciating the friendly staff and reasonable pricing. However, some guests have experienced issues with course policies, particularly regarding group sizes and pace of play, and have encountered occasional rudeness from staff or other players. Additionally, a few reviews mention that the pro shop and facilities are sparse, and there are concerns about the condition of amenities like the pool.

Had a great time. Most of the greens are pretty bumpy and the course layout doesn't make sense. 5 and 6 are way out by 11. You have to drive a mile to get back over to 7 and then another mile from 10 back to 11 and the carts we had were so slow. But really the holes had great challenging layouts. Would never walk this course but it's a fun one and affordable. Would definitely be a regular if I were closer.

amazing, fun course. only problem was that there were a group of 6 hecklers behind us the entire time. It was labor day weekend so it was a full course with many players. They got mad that we were playing a scramble so instead of talking to us about it they called the clubhouse to come talk to us. Pure immaturity. The worker from the club house told us to speed it up on a par 3 when the people in front of us were still on the green. It makes no sense. Then on the last hole they were chirping us since me and my grandpa both had to hit our shot (hence a scramble!!!!) Then they proceed to yell fo…

Amazing course. Very fun! However, I would watch out for hecklers. There was a group of about 6 playing behind us. It was a very crowded day so the course was fairly backed up. They kept rushing us and eventually they called the clubhouse to come all the way to hole 8 to talk to us. The clubhouse guy was very respectful about it and said that they wanted us to speed things up. So, we did… But for some reason they kept complaining. The hecklers started yelling “ they gotta go” “y'all gotta go” and were extremely rude about it. Just very immature. Just a warning that you might come across these…

Fun local course. Course is in great shape, but the pro shop and facilities are pretty sparse so you better make sure you got everything you need before you drive out here. We play here annually for a charity tournament and always enjoy it.

Fees to have a ur wife just to ride with u she was not playing And the fee was a extra 40 bucks I can see a -5-10 buck extra not full price just to ride along Very unprofessional acting board member will leave at that. But the attitude that we got from him was not good at all . And should probably be adjusted before it runs out off more local people

Came into town to see some friends and went to go play some golf early in the morning. Unfortunately this was the worst golf experience I have ever had. The course is mid at best and overpriced. Plus the staff was rude from the get go. However we were kind the entire time. As we played through we were behind a group of four older women that were playing slow (understandably) and by the 6th hole our second group had caught up to us naturally. We weren’t teeing off as 8 we were simply just waiting together for the group in front of us to get out of range. Within 5 minutes of us waiting together…

$30 to play 9 on a weekend and the course is in horrible condition. Greens are slow and half dead, some tee boxes aren’t in use and you have to tee off in the rough. Would not recommend at this price to anyone.

This is what I consider my home course. Ive played this course a whole lot. Great, country charm golf course. Half of the course meanders through a small neighborhood which is cool. They let my 6 year old daughter ride with me for free. I teach her about golf and let her putt so she'll get hooked and be a future customer. This course stays in great shape considering how laid back it is. The staff are awesome and super friendly. I love it so much and I'll always come back!

Came out to the course today to enjoy some time with family after grieving the loss of a family member. Course associates allowed us to PAY and play as a group of 5. While we were playing we did not slow the pace of play. We were courteous to other golfers and allowed them to play through if need be. While finishing hole 8, a “Board Member” drives up to us on a golf cart. I greeted him politely and he said to me very angrily, “Course policy is no fivesomes on the weekend. Y’all need to break this group up now!” We parked our carts once we finished the hole and allowed him to play through. My g…
