First Time I played here course was in pristine condition… for 8 holes.. 😂😂 then we got rained out.. came back the week after and the water damage done to the course!. I wouldn’t recommend anyone play here unless it’s a hot deal for about a month.. most greens had massive water damage, contracting the fairways and rough being as dry as ever. Like hitting your golf ball off of concrete. Not many bunkers or water trouble, but likes of tree trouble!. So be cautious.. The best part of the course is the staff.. the starters are awesome, hilarious, friendly, knowledgeable of the course!. The cart gir…

Stayed here twice for a weekend with my colleagues, over all it’s a cozy homey inn with nice ballrooms, beautiful view, lots of lobby space and couches to commute, funny but throughout the entire building you have a plug within 2 feet, has nice game room, pool table ($1 per game) ping pong, arcade room, piano, small exercise room, it even has it’s own post office, nice swimming pool, spa just across the parking lot, fire pit for everyone to enjoy. And for the rooms... it’s clean but pretty old, has that carpet smell and when someone walks above you , you hear the creeks, mattress is very soft,…

Lots to do, indoor & outdoor, on property. The sports area was convenient and the people running the stable were very nice.We enjoyed the outdoor pool since the weather was fantastic. But the towels were the size of dishtowels. You'd be better off bringing your own. There was a nice trail to a mini waterfall. However, hotel is old & has it's quirks. We stayed at the lodge, which is just feet from the main hotel. We could hear the conversations of the people above us & their baby crying. There were also quite a few areas that needed maintenance --- the pool surrounding walking area need patching…

If you like historic hotels with a lot of outdoor activities, this hotel may be for you. For the outdoor enthusiast, there's horseback riding, archery, trap shooting, pistol shooting, snowmobiling, and even dog sledding during the Winter months. The hotel was built in 1902 and has a lot of historic photos and artifacts displayed throughout. The main hotel building is very majestic inside with a lot of intricate architectural detail including wainscotting walls throughout. As you walk through the hallways, it does have that musty smell as if ghosts live there. It even feels like you are walking…

My husband and I went for two nights, from Sunday to Tuesday. The structure of the hotel is beautiful and it is very well maintained. Theres an amazing view from the fourth floor. On the first, night we had a very bad experience at the bar. The server was quite rude and the food was not up to par. We had a mac and cheese and fried mozzarella caprese. Then we played pool and ping pong in the company of other guests and had a good time. The next day we rode horses at the ranch and recomend it for sure, it was an incredible experience. On the afternoon of Monday we again had no luck with the bar…

We got free 2 night accommodations there from switching to Ambit Energy, and we absolutely loved our room! Quintessential place with cozy fireplaces and reasonable prices. Lots of options to pamper yourself, and activities to have fun.

The staff was borderline rude, the food was hit and miss and the bar tenders didn't even know how to properly mix drinks. The atmosphere was nice and the surrounding grounds, though small, were beautiful. Huge tip, goto the outside bar, by thr pool, you won't regret it.

Recently visited this golf course on a Saturday morning for a 8:40 tee time for 2 and was more then happy with the service, quality, pricing at this course. Don't base your future opinion or choice of coming to this course on a couple reviews that were written by people that clearly like to complain. Driving range is grass vs a hitting mat which in my opinion promotes a better warmup and more of a true hit when running thru the bag during warm up. The course ranger / starter was a great guy, helpful, knowledgeable and honestly an asset to playing golf here. Cart service during play was fairly…

This place was very quaint and cozy. Our first room didn't have hot water but they moved us with no problem. We stayed for 5 nights during the week before the Christmas holiday and wished we had a microwave and fridge, but the place was adorable. It was also dead - it was like having our own private resort. There is a gym and stables to ride horses even in the winter time. Close to restaurants, the casino, and "slopes". Very affordable hotel and nice change of pace from the normal chains. They had a pool table, ping pong table, piano, place to play poker, pool - but no hot tub (closed for the…

Edit... they keep deleting the bad pictures and leaving the good ones... this is not fair to cover up your issues. My advice .... fix up the place and you wouldnt have to hide it.... The good ...Beautiful views here.the bad... Last update maybe back in the 80s. Our room was really bad... patched walls, ceiling has stains from a water leak, bathroom sink was cracked all the way across, tile on the floor cracked, tub took 2hr to drain, no exhausted fan, tv had an extension cord coming from across the room, window curtain has holes in it, ceiling light was missing it's cover....overall felt ding…

I played here this afternoon and really enjoyed it! The course is very strategic and tricky. It was in pretty good shape considering it’s been dry lately and the end of season. Staff was friendly and helpful. I look forward to my next visit.

Course was fun and staff were friendly and accommodating. Course could use some work though. Fairways were hard mostly due to the dry summer I’m sure but greens were pretty rough and it was almost impossible to get a putt to roll true. Also deducted stars for the condition of the cart paths some of the bumps and holes were pretty intense, in fact one of them was hard enough to knock my club brush off the magnet and I never did find it. For the price though I will give it another shot when I’m back in town next year and update the review accordingly.
