In summary

Glen Oaks Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly staff. Many golfers appreciate the narrow fairways and fast greens, as well as the scenic setting and amenities like the driving range and clubhouse. However, some visitors have noted issues with certain greens being under repair and occasional scheduling miscommunications.

What a good course! The layout keeps you interested with a few blind shots and lots of doglegs (some simple and some severe). The greens were in good shape and running very quick, albeit two of them were under repair and had temporary greens. I’d love to see this place fully opened and green!

What a great find! This was my first time playing it. Beautiful golf course with friendly staff. Fairways were a bit more narrow but in exceptional shape. The greens were fast and surrounded by bunkers and in perfect condition. Cart paths a bit rough but not a big deal. Challenging course! Would highly recommend this course and will be back to play!

Great course. Played 9 with a cart a few weeks ago. Cost me $27 as a non-member. The course was in good shape overall. There was some green maintenance on one of the par 4s on the front so they made a makeshift green in the middle of the fairway and shortened it to a par 3 temporarily. The carts are pretty nice. Ours had a good charge and had enough power to get 2 guys around easily. Range balls are cheaper than at Lincolnton. I don’t remember the exact price. We had to wait to tee off for what we were scared was going to be a slow group of four but they ended up not slowing us down at all.…

What a fantastic course! I’m honestly a little conflicted on leaving this review because I’m afraid it will contribute to the course becoming more popular and getting overcrowded! Haha. In all seriousness, the course is fantastic for the price. The facility is well taken care of, the carts seem like they’re brand new, the course itself is in great shape. There were two greens that seemed like they’re struggling to recover from the punch, but they’re getting there and it looks like the grounds crew has done a good job to not lose them. Great golf for a great price. I will definitely be back. An…

The course was in good shape. Some of the greens were a little rough. If people would fix their divots they would be in better shape. Couple of tee boxes were closed for repair. Good course. It is somewhat challenging. Some fairly easy holes along with some hard holes. Still a great course overall.

Great course and great people! Been playing this course most of my life and never get tired of it! They are doing a great job keeping up the course and I'm looking forward to my next trip! The pictures are a little friend that visited us one day, just to see how we were playing. He got within about 10 feet of us and just laid down. He was nice as he could be. Just another example of the beauty you will see when visiting this Glen Oaks!

Place is not even in very good shape. Had a dog fight tournament that got frost delayed. Our tee time was 1:30, currently 2:15 and not on the tee box. Compensation was range tokens with mud balls. Absolutely ridiculous.

Man Glen Oaks use to be the nicest around. Now majority of the greens are either burnt up, hairy ; or so many divots it's like putting in no man's land . I give 3 stars because I love the layout. Besides the gimmick that is called the 18th hole. It should be 2.5 stars. Not worth the 55 dollars they are charging . They should shutdown for the rest of the season and let the course come back to itself .

Glen oaks golf club. The course is amazing. It's challenging. But it is very fair. It rewards the best shots. It punishes not so good. And forget the bad shots. Fairways are narrow. The greens are true and fast. The driving range is nice to get some practice in before the match. They put on personal type tournaments. Shot gun starts. Our church..Christ Methodist church had a tournament out there and we had such a great time. Thank you for being such a great host for our church outing.

Glen Oaks is a very nice course in great condition. The fairways, greens and tees are always in great shape. The staff is very nice and they offer a nice discount for the Ladies Monday-Thursday. There are bathrooms, water fountains and ball washers out on the course as well. The range is very nice as well as the new clubhouse and pro-shop. This is by far the best course in the area.

The fairways are great. The rough is heavy. There were 4 greens that were in bad shape. The staff is very friendly.
