In summary

Foxfire Golf Club is generally appreciated for its challenging layout, well-maintained greens, and friendly staff, making it an enjoyable experience for many golfers. The course's scenic beauty and accommodating atmosphere for events like bachelor parties are also highlighted. However, some visitors have experienced issues with slow pace of play and interactions with course marshals, which have impacted their overall experience.

This is my home course and it is one of the hardest courses in the area. May be one of the hardest I've ever played. Golf pro and staff are excellent, friendly, and attentive. Their only failing is the lack of adequate practice facilities and the difficulty of several of the holes, 1, 9, 12, and 18 are virtually un-parrable for an average golfer.

Great course. Really well kept. Difficult enough to keep it interesting for all levels of golfers, but not too difficult for a novice.

We played this course two days on a weekend in mid-July. The course was in good shape. The fairways showed some signs of a lot of rounds having been played there. There were a lot of ball marks that hadn't been repaired. The greens were in good shape and well-maintained, as were the bunkers. They've been letting the heather grow lately, which makes the course more challenging. It's a fun track to play at a fair price!

To start, I'm going to leave my honest review on what I thought about Fox Fire/Par 4 Resort. See below my detailed review. The coarse was better than I thought it was going to be and all in all we had a good time and will go again, but it would be one of those courses that I'll golf only if there isn't anything else available and or has a great deal. 1) Tee boxes ehhh ok, were pretty rough and didn't have repair sand in the boxes. Par 3's were pretty difficult to find a good lie within the markers. 2) Fairways good, somewhat challenging and fun with different looks and a nice layout. 3) Green…

This place was really nice place. They must get alot of people, because you could see some wear on the fairways. However, they definitely have a dedicated grounds crew. Went there on a Friday and they were all working hard to upkeep the course. Also it should be noted I was there for a bachelor party, and they were accommodating for that and the inevitable shenanigans that come with it

I have been coming to Fox Fire at Par 4 Resort for quite some time, I have always had a good experience when there, I have to say with the new owner that has taken over a few months ago it has been changing for better and I really didn't think that was possible. All of the little changes he has made so far are to make the experience even better. I love the fact that there is a small putting green and a chipping green close by. It is not an easy course by far but an absolutely beautiful one!

One of the worst golfing experiences I have had. Course got very backed up very quickly, 3 min tee times, the warden was incredibly rude. Ruined our whole experience. We will never be returning here

First time playing there! I can't believe how beautiful it was! I loved the long grass all around the course! You better hit in fairways! The girls at the clubhouse were super friendly! Will be back!

We went for lunch at the Bistro. It was very good, no complaints. Food was good, I had the blackened catfish with fried green tomatoes, super yummy. Husband had the red beans and rice, also super yummy. We also had the prime rib bruschetta, also amazing. The service was excellent and so was the atmosphere. It was also clean and inviting.

Worst golfing experience I have ever had at a course. It was a holiday weekend, 11:30am tee time. We had a group of 6, 4 golfers and 2 riders for a total of three carts. We paid the proper price for everyone ($20 bucks per rider). First two holes were fine and then we dumped the two riders at the club house to grab drinks (because the bev cart just sped past us) so we could keep pace of play on the 3rd hole. As the riders were walking back to the carts, the course marshal stopped and yelled at them as it's 'dangerous to be walking on the course'...weird since it's a golf course and people wal…

Often play here but was a little disappointed with the upkeep of the fairways and tee boxes. Lots of divots on the tee boxes and bare spots on the farewell but it is nearing the end of the season. Watch out for the alligators in the ponds...
