In summary

Forest Park Country Club is praised for its beautiful clubhouse, friendly staff, and southern hospitality, making it a popular choice for both golfing and hosting events. The course layout is well-liked, with many noting the fairways and greens are generally in good condition, although some mention issues with the bunkers and greens being bumpy at times. The restaurant and pool amenities also receive positive feedback, though a few visitors have noted that the interior could benefit from additional decor.

Beautiful Clubhouse that is rented for special events, where you can easily accommodate 250 guests. They have a separate area where you can put buffet tables or add tables to seat guests. Even though they do not have a kitchen, they have a small space where you can set up the waiters station or the catering people can set their service. On that same floor they have a regular sized room with a restroom that can be very useful. On the first level there is another big room that can be set as a playroom area for the kids, with the proper adult supervision. Mary, the lady in charge, is a really nic…

Course conditions have really gone the wrong way over the years. The greens are really bumpy but fortunately the green fees are reasonable.

I was impressed by my accuracy on this absolutely gorgeous golf course, the terrain was a little difficult with the steep hills and valleys.. ending with socializing on the patio at a distance of course with beer and wine it was wonderful with the southern hospitality and the stories that were told. One thing I must add there were about six to eight individuals fishing in a pond on the front nine not sure what hole it was I thought that was a bit odd. And the sound of the cicadas in the distance luckily it's only every 13 years what a year 2020 is becoming.. I'm not watching news or breaking s…

Most wonderful hospitality! Met wonderful friendly people. I cannot say enough about our wonderful experience there. Southern hospitality at its best. Breakfast was delicious. Best one ever! Definitely recommend and definitely coming back to visit, eat and play golf. Thank you for a memorable time with my son and husband.

Really enjoyed the layout of this course. The greens, fairways and tee boxes were in good shape. The bunkers were for the most part in poor condition and had lots of weeds in them. For $26 to play 18 holes you can’t go wrong playing here.

Very nice fairways and greens. They have benches you can sit on when you are waiting for your turn. They have a wonderful restaurant. A pool when you join the club. I was impressed. Everyone should bring their clubs and then enjoy a great meal. I definitely recommend Forest Park.

Had lunch - a large grilled chicken wrap and fries - very tasty. Pool didn't appear overly crowded although it may be busy for the 4th pool party tomorrow. The interior bar/club and large banquet room were nice and clean but could use some decorating, as in more wall art and some real or even artificial ficus or other trees or plants. Waitperson was attentive and personable.
