A group from my job came up from Georgia to help with hurricane Helene clean up and we stayed at the resort which was closed but we were able to stay in the rooms and it was absolutely perfect! We had come from Cascades in Hendersonville which was unsatisfactory is all I'll say. When we got out to Etowah I got a room it was very nice everything was spotless the beds were perfect and they have the best towels ever! My room actually had like a little closet it has two sinks one inside the restroom and one outside the restroom. It's a really nice place and they're working on it to open in March o…

We loved our stay! We stayed in 2 connecting rooms. We are avid golfers and played 18 holes both days. Loved the access to the tavern to grab a drink and some food after playing 9 holes. Golf courses are beautiful and competitive! Everything was very convenient, pro shop to get balls to hit before our tee time was a nice perk and we had to rent a set of golf clubs, they were so accommodating. Loved all the staff in the restaurant, pro shop, and on the golf course. They made us feel right at home! Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!!

I didn’t stay here, just played golf. Course was in great condition. Starter was friendly. Pace of play was good until we caught the group in front of us on the back nine. Course does challenge you. Played with 3 other guys and I felt like I held them up as they hit pretty long. I recommend playing here. Played with Tim (a local), Josh and Dave from out of town. It was nice playing with someone who knew the course. Played 7/27/24.

Still have "under repair" on multiple holes, i.e., sand traps that aren't sand. But overall course was well groomed and greens were wicked! Had great time! Inaugural Knights of Columbus Golf Tournament was outstanding! Will be there for 2nd tournament!

Just returned from a 3 night stay and play at Etowah and I can't praise the staff enough for the wonderful job they did taking care of our group. From booking to check out, this group is 5 star. The food was great, the drinks were perfect, the golf course was beautiful. I've taken this group of 20-26 men to many different resorts and nowhere has been as welcoming as the folks at Etowah. Can't wait to come back.

Everything was outstanding. The person that just gave a 1 star review last week must have been salty about something. The course was wet but still very nice. Nowhere close to a “cow pasture”. Yes the bunkers had water in them but I don’t think people understand that they are going to be wet after raining all day 3 days in a row. The customer service was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. Everyone was super nice. The rooms were perfect and clean. We did the golf package and are probably going to make it a yearly thing. Katie did a wonderful job handling our package. Pro shopped allowed u…

I had gone here many times in the past but had not been back for a few years. With so many mixed reviews my group and I were a little trepadatious but were pleasantly surprised. I have to begin with Ms.Louis. She went to full lengths to meet our every request while helping to organize our trip as well as when we visited. If you want to play a challenging but very fun golf course, this is the place. Every course around should envy their fairways and the greens rolled great. The GPS system in the carts was the best I've ever seen. For a course which is in the process of upgrading, well done.

We had our wedding reception in their pavilion. Katie B was amazing! we had some uncertainties about the date being available and we are glad we held out. The night went perfectly the staff from the resort was helpful and available through the whole reservation. Cal our bartender was super talented and efficiently served our 50 guests. Our only critique would be that the rooms need some updating, but they were still more than satisfactory for us and our guests!

Clean, comfy, cozy!. We got in to town a little late so the front staff had sent us instructions on how to access our room. We got a room with 2 queen beds. Man, these beds are comfy!! A lot better than the fancy hotel we stayed at the night prior!! We got 3 HOT showers back to back. Our view of the golf course will was wonderful. The best $135 room I’ve ever stayed in!

Wife booked a weekend for our anniversary. Was a nice surprise. Drove from Charleston, SC. The place is dated but still has the charm and the staff was inviting. The somewhat updated room was comfortable. The AC worked and plenty of hot water. You can tell they are trying to update the units and I know that kind of work is expensive. We had a nice view of the 9th hole on the South Course. Plenty of wildlife. Was not very crowded and was very peaceful. Played the South and North 9’s. Challenging layout with a lot of elevation changes. Greens were quick but manageable. The bunkers need a lot of…

I did a stay and play package here and it was wonderful and budget friendly. Played 9 on Fri, 18 on Sat and Sun. Etowah Valley Golf has 3 great 9 hole course, each with a different feel. My favorite was the south course, but they were each lots of fun. The fairways are absolutely plush, really good shape right now. The vast majority of the greens are in excellent condition. A few greens on the North course had some issues, but that didn't negatively impact how the ball rolled. The rough on all three courses is extremely thick so either keep it in the fairway or buy some cheap balls in bulk. I…
