Essex Golf & Country Club

Photographing a November wedding at Essex Golf & Country Club was a standout experience. The fall colors were in full display, and the property offered an incredible variety of backdrops — from mature trees to beautifully maintained grounds — giving us so many elegant options for portraits throughout the day. A beautiful location to host your event. The staff is kind, attentive and helpful, which means so much to me as a vendor. On occasion, when attending events as a guest, everything and everyone was always top notch!

We went here for a wine event, held by the Ontario wine society. The service was outstanding, and the food was even better. Beautiful rooms with beautiful decor, enhanced the overall experience. Chef John Kukucka and his staff knocked it out of the park.

Photographing weddings here is a dream. There's an old world charm and a character that can be hard to find in wedding venues in Essex County. The grounds are impeccable (and those old, beautiful trees - wow!). The sunsets here are also top notch. The food is delicious (I've shot here many times and I've never had a bad meal). Love it!

A world class facility right in our own backyard. Essex is what a complete Private facility should be like. Golf course is as pure as you can get!

My cousin got married outside, it was a beautiful day. Inside we had dinner (Which was so good!!!) Then dancing in the next room. Everything was beautiful inside and the staff was very polite.

My wife and I held our reception here in April, and boy did we make the right choice! The food was really good and the staff went out of their way to cater to our guests' wacky dietary restrictions. Planning was made simple even over the covid timeline and we were really happy with the time we spent there!

Fantastic club with great management. Classy building. Tal and team consistently deliver excellent cuisine. Rack of Lamb is my favourite. Ask for mint sauce...delicious. Challenging course with subtle elevations and watch the trees. My ball seems to find them 😅 Still remember watching the Shark (Norman) play many years ago.

An absolute pleasure and gem of a course. Played in early October and seeing the greens framed by fall foliage is a rare privilege. Classic Donald Ross design with optical illusion bunker placements and elevated, sloping greens (rolling at about 11.5). Just wonderful.

We are so glad we chose to have our wedding reception here. Kristina and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious!

Had a meeting there, wasn't there for golf. The staff was very polite and helpful. The Reuben and fries that I had were really good. Highly recommend it.
