In summary

Dunes Golf Course is praised for its fun and challenging layout, with well-maintained greens and a mix of par 3s and 4s that offer a unique golfing experience. The friendly staff and reasonable pricing enhance the overall experience, making it a popular choice for both beginners and seasoned golfers. However, some visitors note that the course may not cater to serious golfers seeking a more traditional setup, and the clubhouse could benefit from updates.

Good place to take the kids. Serious golfers should not go on the weekend. Only one set of tees which was kind of fun, but it isn't "serious" golf. No slope or rating.

Unfortunately due to the weather conditions I was only able to take the cart on the front nine. This is not to the fault of the course themselves so I played the front nine twice for an 18.

Fun challenging par 63 layout! Not an easy course to score well consistently. The front 9 is 7 par 3 and 2 par 4s. Most holes have a look of ease to them but don't be fooled. The greens are tricky and the rough around the greens can be harsh at times. Better be a good chipper or pitcher!! The back 9 is 7 par 4s and 2 par 3s. Not too much trouble on the back. Water comes into play on a few holes and the small dunes that line the fairways can be challenging to hit out of.

The Dunes is a wonderful course. Not real long, but nice greens to putt on. Collin does a great job in keeping it in tip top shape. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
