In summary

Cranwell Resort & Golf Club is praised for its beautiful grounds, well-maintained golf course, and friendly staff. Guests appreciate the comfortable accommodations, diverse amenities, and scenic setting, making it a popular choice for special occasions and retreats. However, some visitors have noted issues with service efficiency, high prices, and occasional maintenance or room readiness concerns.

While being a relatively short course, you are punished by narrow fairways and a lot of woods. You really have to take care of the golf ball. The grounds are beautiful and the fairways always play nice and soft. They’ve put some effort into the greens - false fronts and other items, which is fun. Great place for a round!

My wife and I came here for our first wedding anniversary. We stayed 2 nights in the mansion and golfed Saturday afternoon. The grounds weer beautiful and our room was spectacular. Golf was great and the whole staff was very friendly. It was easy to tell that they were excited to finally have guests. Overall our stay was fantastic. The one drawback that sticks out was breakfast. We ate breakfast at the Mansion bistro on Saturday morning, which was good, but very expense and included a 15% F&B fee that was also taxed. They also advertised a deal that included breakfast with the room, but this…

This review is for the Spa. Spent a rainy day there. The ladies facilities were very nice. Steam room and dry sauna. Whirlpool room had a huge lovely skylight and fireplace. Bathroom/shower facilities as you would expect. Well stocked and clean. The ladies quiet lounge was comfortable as well. Only comment is it would be nice to have a menu to order a drink or something like that for relaxation while in the spa. There is a cafe but it seems to have lunchtime only hours.

This is a beautiful Resort in a beautiful location. We primarily been here for holidays for brunch, and the food has always been excellent whether it's the carved and served meats and pastas, or the foods at the buffet. While it is a very nice place, the restaurant itself is not stuffy. We felt for the price, and the level of service, that this was a great experience and a great deal. We will continue to come here for special occasions in the future.

We spent 2 nights in the Beechers historic building. Everything was lovely. Spacious room. Great beds. We were happy with both the indoor and outdoor pools and the gym. Beautiful grounds and buildings. Breakfast was great. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would love to go back.

The food was healthy but tasty. The rooms were comfortable. There was not soap at all the sinks by our meeting room and the blind was broken in room 310. Grounds are lovely. Capital steps funny and really enjoyed. Staff very helpful. Thanks.

Attended a wedding here over the weekend and the property an manor is gorgeous. All the staff was friendly and helpful and made sure all of our needs were met. We stayed in one of the cottages in the main properly and it was clear and stocked with everything we expected. The kitchenette was nice to have but the overall look/feel of the rooms was a bit dated. The main ballroom and common area's were all nice and comfortable.

What's not to like here? Had an amazing room, drinks at the bar with its heavy Newport vibe. Went over to their "theater" and saw The Capitol Steps (excellent!) who are in residence for July and August. The bellman was great and very helpful. Spa prices were stupidly high. And a one-hour massage does NOT last 50 minutes. Tell your therapist s/he is not the only one charging for 50 minutes. Bad trend.

It’s a nice hotel, has nice staff and spacious rooms. But when we came the room wasn’t cleaned up and took 1 and a half hours to clean up. TV wasn’t that good , hair dryer didn’t work , bed wasn’t comfortable, shower isn’t that hot and we have to wait at least one minute. No study desk either. Otherwise I would have given this a two star rating

We had a great experience at Wyndhurst. The bar was beautiful, bartender very experienced, and know how to mix a good drink. We will go back.

Luke and his staff have transformed this nostalgic club into a must see venue when visiting the berkshires. new gps carts, large greens, and a stocked pro shop make this a high-line golf course at a value to locals and visitors alike.

The location is a little inconvenient since the nearest towns are about a mile or two away. Unless you arrived in a car, travel will be a hassle. However, Cranwell provides its guests with everything they need to stay comfortably for the duration of your stay. The staff are very polite and attentive and I felt extremely welcomed. The food quality isn't bad either and they offer a range for you to pick and choose. It is a great place for professional events and retreats.
