In summary

Cossett Creek Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained greens and fairways, with a layout that offers a forgiving front nine and a more challenging, scenic back nine. The staff receives high praise for their friendliness and exceptional customer service, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While the course is generally well-regarded, some visitors note that the cart paths are in poor condition and the clubhouse could use improvements.

I played Cossett Creek after several days of constant and heavy rain. Though there were a few spots of standing water, the course held up very well all things considered. The round started with a very friendly gentleman in the shop who asked if it was my first time playing the course. When I said yes he was gracious enough to come out to the cart with me and give me an overview of some key points of the course as well as wipe down the cart. The front 9 is much more wide open and where you need to score. The back 9 is more picturesque (see attached) and challenging with many holes nestled amo…

This course has improved greatly since it was Brunswick Hills. The greens were immaculate. The fairways were cut perfectly and the rough was playable. Very scenic and challenging holes. The creek comes in play at least 8 times or more and lots of uphill and downhill holes. This course wold have been four stars except for their cart paths which used to be asphalt but are now mostly gravel. There is a fair amount of pot holes in the fairways and the clubhouse could use some work. We know that cart paths are expensive so if can overlook this defect this is a must play course.

Forgiving course on the front 9 and a lot more challenging on the back 9. Great for all skill levels. Grass is well maintained with wide fairways on the front 9. Decent club house and the staff were very accommodating.

Clean well kept course. Super friendly staff. I slipped in mud and that offered me a towel to take home. Reasonably priced concessions as well.

Over priced. Greens were nice. But the fairways could use a lot of work.

Fun local course to play. Owners are awesome, it's a laid back place my son and his friends played many times this year. Great price, cool place.

Wonderful course that is challenging for any golfer. I've been golfing there for many years and enjoy the challenging greens and different holes. The superintendent takes really good care of the course and is very helpful and friendly. They have very nice golf scrambles during the year.I would recommend this course to any golfer

The course is very well kept, I haven't played this course in some years kinda disappointed they removed the sand traps that made this course that much more challenging. This wasn't an issue with the course itself. The players behind us did not follow course rules and were playing the hole while we remained on the fairway which can be very dangerous.

I'll be honest me and my coworker are average golfers. We were warned ahead of time that the greens were damaged because of the heat but he assured us that the course was being actively worked on. I golfed normal didnt really notice much difference in my game. I will say what sets this course apart from hundreds of other courses is this. It is family owned now and it shows who I assume is the owner gave us advice about the course and places to hit etc. Afterward we had a nice conversation about tee times watering schedule compared to our work schedule and let's say the compassion and desire to…

Cossett was the first course we had ever golfed at. It’s a course that is truly great for all levels of golf. Open fairways and not many places to get yourself in trouble. Everyone is extremely nice and willing to go the extra mile to help out! You can’t be the prices for how well kept everything is! One of the cheaper courses in the area. Cossett will always be one of my favorite courses to play locally! Highly recommend!

This was my first time playing this course. The starter (owner?) was great. He gave us a rundown of the course, the speed of the greens, general rules of the course and seemed to know a lot of the regulars that were starting around us (6:18a tee time). The front 9 is open and forgiving and was in decent shape. There we're some rough areas, but nothing that detracted from the game. The back 9 is almost like you're playing a different course. It is narrow and tree-lined. It's an interesting disparity between 9's. I would say the back was a bit more rough in regards to the greens on the edge, but…

If you’re a beginner or just someone who enjoys golfing socially/casually. I cannot recommend Cossett Creek enough. Their course is beginner friendly (but not too easy, some holes are still extremely challenging), their customer service is top class, and the course is always well kept. On top of that, you’re not spending an arm and a leg to go golfing. Great value, fun course, I can’t recommend it enough.
