Colonial Oaks Golf Course

Love this course, the back 9 is a good challenge.

If I had to pick one course in the city it would be Oaks, hands down. Love this course. I play this course 4-5 times a month from spring to fall and it is never in “good” shape- only GREAT shape. Every single hole. Seriously! Staff is friendly and you can tell that clubhouse & greenskeeper team really gives a damn. It exceeds all expectations for an open-to-public course, and the back 9 is beautiful this time of year

The man at the proshop on friday morning was rude.dont know what his problem was then I had a free pass to golf a round and he still charged me a green fee.The card did not stipulate a green fee would be my responsibility. There are alot of other courses that are welcoming and will accept a free round of golf without hidden fees

Ashley is the best cook around town. She’s absolulty murdered it at the Mulligan with our food order!

Booked tee time. When we got there, there was an outing about to start. Guy says to just go off the back 9 and we’ll be fine. Three holes in and we have a very rude man pull up to us and say “that was the last hole, you have to leave.” Very rude staff. Will not be playing course and will be letting others know not to play course either.

The people that work here are rude. I sat and waited for 5 minutes while I was on the tee box and he was 30 yards in front of me on the fairway. He told me just to hit. I don’t know about anyone else but I’m sure nobody else would want to do that. On the first hole I was getting ready to chip onto the green and a worker drove their cart in between me and the green. Stopped mid swing and the ball went 10 yards rather than 30 to the green because I didn’t want to hit him. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a golf course. I would not recommend this place.

10:00am tee time on a Friday, was given absolutely no warning that grounds crews would be mowing every hole, both rough and fairway, while we were playing. Some of them did stop while we golfed past them but others did not care, one proceeded to mow directly next to the tee box as I was teeing off, then, ran over my tee shot that landed just off the fairway in the rough. When I brought this up to the front desk attendant I was told that it was normal and that if I needed another ball that I could have one. For $42 a round with a cart I cannot recommend nor will I be back.
