In summary

Christopher Morley Park is appreciated for its compact, nine-hole course that provides a good opportunity for practicing short game skills, with a generally friendly staff and a variety of amenities including tennis courts, playgrounds, and a pool. However, some visitors have criticized the course for being poorly maintained, citing issues like uneven tee boxes, divots, and high fees, especially for non-residents. The park's facilities are considered spacious and enjoyable, though there are calls for improvements and updates in certain areas.

No…no…the reviews aren’t true to themselves. No grass covering AT ALL on tee box, grass mowing tractors are running in front of you when you are playing, right in front of you!! LOL!!!!! Oh, yea and divots EVERYWHERE, mud upside down no grass spots…oh my, maybe I wasn’t lucky just this day????? With even a leisure pass, it’s $45 for two people. Not even worth $10. Seriously!!

Great little course. Narrow and hilly. Two or three tee boxes need a makeover but otherwise it’s in good shape. Rarely a wait to play.

Pothole galore in the parking lot. What was supposed to be a fun game of tennis later turned into two flat tires and a parking ticket.

Par 3, 9 hole golf course that's well suited for practicing

Place was horrible. Everything possible went wrong. Guy at the front was completely unkind and unhelpful. Course is not well maintained as the greens along with the tee boxes are rough, dry, and unfathomably uneven.

Some of these one star comments are extremely biased. "the people that play arent the nicest" nah man, that is just your bad luck that you ran into a few mean golfers when you went. Most golfers at all courses are nice. So that comment is invalid. Another comment was about the price. The price is the same at all public golf courses in nassau. Also, it is cheaper if you have a leisure pass; it is not $80 with a leisure pass, its around $60 i think. The course is pretty simple and a lot of the holes are short but it is a nice course for just wanting to have a little fun and practice. Maybe not…

Overpriced (yes, even for a public course) for a poorly maintained, mostly Par 3 9 hole. You can play Bethpage for a lower price per hole. No tee boxes, hard to follow course design, trees in the middle of a narrow fairway, etc…save your money for another course.

Great park. We always enjoy coming here with our kids. A lot of room to play, run, place sports, have a picnic, or just relax. There are bathrooms, drink sale stands, basketball courts, tennis courts, bike runs, and children's playgrounds. There's also a cool ice rink and public pools. I feel that the park should be restricted to non-residents to protect it from weird people entering the place where children play. Hence I'm taking off 1 star. Hopefully the town will take notice.

Rates are high for this course, and the "kids can't golf before 2pm” is a joke. You'll allow 80 year olds who can barely walk or swing golf before then, but not allow "kids" that are better than most hacking adults. To boot, the course was desolate which made that absurd rule even funnier. Here's a way to insert common sense which many seem to lack, if there is not a sole at the clubhouse or on the first hole, maybe allow "kids" to go and golf - it would also make business sense.

Nicely maintained 9-hole course. The website says you can play without a leisure pass for $28. However, the attendant told me I would need one but that they would "extend a one-time courtesy." For a public course, it beats Cantiague by far.

It's a ripoff; you need a leisure pass that costs $32.00 per adult. Then you still have to pay to use the pool. As a Nassau County resident; I'm paying enough in taxes!! The leisure pass should all you need to use the pool.

This is honestly the worst Golf Course in all Nassau County. overpriced, terrible conditions and bad customer experience. $80 for two people and a cart is ridiculous, based on the quality of the course and its 100yd holes. Cart paths are a hazard. Save your money or invest it right somewhere else.
