Challenge Golf Course at Edwin Shaw Rehab

My grandfather is a disabled vet, and he volunteers at this golf course, the prices are really great, and the course is really really manageable for him, and other disabled vets who don't want to stay away from their favorite sport. People are always so kind, and they do a really great job making accommodations for their customers, and talking to them. This place makes me smile everytime I stop by.

Some of the nicest people I've ever met. Almost every golf course that i've brought my kids to have acted like we shouldn't have been there and we were an inconvenience. These folks, we're amazing from the minute we pulled in to the time we left.

was a wonderful experience and brought great joy to hit golf balls and working on my swing! I haven’t played for years due to medical limitations such as osteo arthritis and carpal tunnnel surgery. The team is wonderful and very interactive. They adapt to meet your needs!

I love the staff and volunteers at the Cleveland clinic Challenge golf course. It's such a a great place for those of us unable to play regular golf. Lessons, commadarie and just an awesome experience. Highly recommend.

never was much of a golfer myself, but once I became disabled back in '08 Edwin Shaw golf course became a new home. having to learn to walk again as you can imagine has its ups and downs but sure enough with the help and the friendly staff of Edwin Shaw hospital I went home in a wheelchair which was quite the feet considering when I woke up from a coma a month earlier I was bed bound. it sends me to hear when they bulldoze the building and close the hospital but I have a feeling that it all will live on in our minds in our memories reminding us always that even though Edwin Shaw might not been…

The people here are very nice and professional. I knew nothing about golf. Know I am getting good at it and I love the game! I was on a walker and in leg braces when I started and was put on oxygen. With the help of this program and physical therapy I no longer need any of those items. Just seeing others work with and through their challenges, and some overcome, is inspiring. The instructor, Ron Tristano, is just amazing. He is a PGA GOLFER that knows how to get people back to golf that have had strokes, amputations, or injuries of any kind!!!

Love the volunteers who help us learn how to golf! It is truly a great program.
