First time playing cedar! Got paired with the club pro Hillary! He was great to play with and gave some great tips! Was a beautiful course with some challenging holes! Overall very nice and will play it again! Only thing is no cedar green marked ball for my collection lol

June 5th drove from North Bay to play and was welcomed by a rude staff member in the pro shop, we had questions as we have never golfed here before, and he made us feel like we were bothering him. The rest of the staff was friendly, course was in great shape and had some of the best greens I’ve putted on

This isn't the course/management I grew up loving to play. Getting greedy with tee times. I sometimes like to get a quick round in as a single later at night. I understand they have men's night/leagues but for those nights, they should be booked off in the system and not allow singles to book. Saves everyone a headache. Ended up just going home.

My boyfriend and I got a membership at Cedar Green for the 2023 season. It's a nice, fun and well maintained course but everything else about it sucks. It's WAY too busy. We always end up waiting before teeing off because it's back logged by multiple groups. Tee-times every 8 minutes is too much for this course and they don't do anything about pace of play. We have played several 3 hour 9 hole rounds. It's also so hard to book a tee-time as everything is always booked. You have to book several days in advance. There are always events happening which makes it even harder to get tee-times. The s…

The starter guy (Lance) was very rude because we’re not members. It was a family outing and we were so excited to try out Cedar Green. This is my oldest son second time going in a week and he was rude to him both times. If they don’t want non members, maybe they should make the golf course members only. I will not be returning. I paid $265 and couldnt even enjoy it because we were all so worked up with the treatment we all received. Jordan on the other hand at the pro shop was awesome!!!

Easily one of the best courses in Sudbury. It's in great condition save for some obvious ongoing maintenance and provides a decent challenge for any level of golfer. Absolute beginners may struggle. I just wish that some of the paths were clearly marked for where to go as there are a number of intersections presumably for Maintenance crews and some tees aren't always visible.

Very desapointed. We had Booked a T time for 1:03 on Thursday. When we arrived we are told it would be slow as they have a shotgun tournament starting at 1:00 and we were going to be stuck in the mix of it. I questioned why I was not informed about the tournament and all I got was" I don't know." Who the heck wants to try and play a round like this. Obviously we didn't get to play. Thanks Cedar Green for ruining our day.

My husband treated me today for a round of golf at the cedar green golf course for Mother's Day/birthday. It started with beautiful weather and we finished our first nine holes and decided to pop into the clubhouse for a beverage and realized that it was closed and they had a cooler fridge with about 9 Canadian beer available We inquired if the clubhouse would be open and the gentleman said in about 10mins as the girl just arrived. We chose two beer from the 9 left and heard the co works say to each other that they didn't know how to get into the upstairs? Seemed pretty disorganized? We contin…

Even for Sudbury courses this is very poorly maintained. Grass needs to be cut. Greens are in very poor condition. Cart paths are full of flooded potholes. Cart paths have NO marker signs and the paths fork often. How much would 18 wooden signs cost to make? Offer free golf for 4 to the first person to donate trail signs. Easy to head to the wrong tee. Only a few tees have ball cleaners. Practice putting green has no holes...only sticks with flags you hit?? I believe they found the rental clubs at the local dump 20 years ago and you need to gather a full set yourself and they don't even CLEAN…

Golf Sudbury is not a place, but five courses of different quality and appeal. At the top of the order is Timberwolf, a nice course but no longer the jewel it used to be (2023 update: it's in fabulous shape this spring). Cedar Green is the busy, plebian course filled sadly with a lot of people who need a crash course in golf etiquette. Kudos to the crew for always keeping the course in very good shape despite the beating it takes (2023 update: also in fantasic condition). Monte Vista in the valley is meh at best and Stonehill and Pinegrove offer passable golf tracks if you keep your expectatio…
