What People Say

In summary

Carrickmacross Golf Centre, now known as Kirby Links, is praised for its well-maintained par 3 course and driving range, making it a popular spot for beginners and families. The staff is frequently highlighted for their friendliness and helpfulness, with particular commendation for the quality of instruction. However, some visitors have noted issues with the pace of play during busy times and the condition of the range's tee boxes, while one isolated incident involved a negative interaction with a staff member. Overall, the centre is appreciated for its affordability and improvements under new ownership.

Just finished my first round of the season and had a blast! Great to see the owners continue to invest in the course. The new push carts are awesome. Can’t wait to come back for a weekly round.

I hit this range all the time. Was a staple when it was Carrick Cross. Nowadays....I just wish they would cut the range deck shorter, maybe water it more so it is softer and have a better program for the grass to grow. It was crazy busy and I was hitting off hard dirt. Still a good place to practice my Driving and anything off a tee. Range memberships would be nice. They use to have them. All in all recommended.

Played 10/1. Started around 420ish. Paired up with another single. Paid for full 18 holes. I understand no marshalls on the course and what not but it took an hour to play the first 4 holes. That's kinda bad. Group ahead was playing multiple balls. Didn't get my money's worth as only could get in 12 holes. It's a par 3 course... shouldn't take an hour for the first 4 holes.

If you’re new to the game, or want to polish your skills, this is a great place for it. Nice course & kind staff. The range could be in better conditions tho

My partner found this course for my first round of golf, it was a very pleasant experience, I would definitely come back again, very clean and we'll kept, some holes were a bit more challenging than others which was great for newbies!

Had a blast yesterday! Went with some friends, played 18 holes in about 2 hours after practicing on the driving range. Cool targets to hit at and fun times all around! Super nice staff and enjoyed some ice-cream after we played. What a great way to spend half a day for under $40 dollars!! Will be back for sure 😀

Great spot for a golf range, low traffic area. The staff is very helpful and the prices are great. Bucket of balls is $20 with tax, they take tap which is very convenient. Washroom is on site.

Ask for Steve - he did an amazing job as our instructor. We are novice golfers, and in a hour he got us to understand how to fundamentally think about our approaches. I hit the straightest shots of my life. He is also a pleasure to work with - cannot recommend him strongly enough!

I love Kirby Links. I bring my 2 young boys, it's a fantastic place to teach little ones the game of golf. Great courses, great driving range, and warm up area. Highly recommended

If you come during a busy time expect the pace to be quite slow. When the ground is dry the tee boxes are so hard you can't put the tee in. Tee boxes are also covered in divots. Overall still not bad for a par 3 course.

Played 18 holes and enjoyed the experience! It is early in the season but can see staff working hard to prepare the course and hopefully get the temporary holes fixed up! Found it a little short with too many 100- 130 yard holes! My wedge & 9 iron were the most used clubs in the bag! Staff were very friendly and this is an excellent location for seniors and new to the game players to hone their skills! Not for experienced golfers but for families it’s a great spot and the prices are reasonable!

Range is good, lots of bays to hit from. Usually gets busy but that’s standard, only downside is the ground gets really muddy and lots of divots are made, but I’ll still be coming back frequently
