In summary

Callahan Golf Links is often praised for its well-maintained greens, scenic views, and challenging layout, appealing to both amateur and seasoned golfers. The staff is frequently described as friendly, and the course is considered a good value for the price. However, some visitors have experienced slow pace of play and issues with course management, such as the need for improved cart conditions and better oversight by marshals.

Great place to play golf! The staff is super friendly and the course is in great shape. We will 100% be back to play again soon.

Driving range could use some work. Carts were a little dirty in the cup holders and the computer didn't work until the 10th. The course itself was a typical links course. Found it to be in pretty good shape after couple of snowy and icy weekends. Plenty of water challenges and sand traps. Greens were in really good shape. Did enjoy the time on the course and will go back.

Lovely golf course. It was very challenging for this amateur golfer. Next time I travel up this way again, I'll be stopping here to play.

Hidden gem , challenging course with elevation. Staff is friendly, course is in decent shape for the price. Tee times are typically easy to grab. Carts could be upgraded , no cover over your bag if it rains,

Didn't look like much at first but this was a great test of golf. Some very scenic holes in a bucolic environment. Bring plenty of balls because there are several long carry tee shots.

Nice course. My kind of place, not a fancy country club, just a nice course with good people. I'll definitely be back. greens and fairways are well kept. Tee boxes seemed a bit roughed up, but they may be working on them, because it seemed like at least one tee patch on each hole wasn't being used, which usually meant blues we're playing black tees quite often. I played after a pretty good rain but the course was still nice, not really much standing water anywhere on the fairways or greens. This course is trcky tho, make sur you stay on the fairways. Beer cart made a few passes, which was nice…

Fun layout, pace of play was great, especially for a Sunday morning, some tee boxes need work, some bad spots on a couple greens, but $55 for a Sunday at 9AM…still a good value!

Great value. And they have put in a lot of work to make this course better. Been playing here for the last 4 years. Every year it’s better. Definitely worth the price. Fun, a few challenges, and great customer service.

It was okay but could've been great. The greens were nice and sneaky fast. The fairways were nicely kept up. It's just that they stack too many golfers on it in a day. It took us 3.5 hours to play 11 holes. Even though it would've been dark in an hour, we decided that it wasn't worth trying to finish out the round.

Course is in great shape. 1st time playing there, won't be the last. Great greens, great views, great time!

Might be the worse golf experience ever. Stuck behind a game of 5 groups that had zero business playing from the blue tees. Zero urgency we averaged almost 25 mins a hole. Was told there was a Marshal but that’s not true, if it is true then that’s the worst Marshal ever. Left after 9 holes. Photo below was taken from the number 9 tee box took another 25 minutes to finish that hole too. Never again! Saw another post from a few weeks ago same pace issues. The owners don’t seem to care about 6 hour rounds.
