In summary

Brown County Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained conditions, challenging yet enjoyable layout, and reasonable rates, making it a standout public course in the Green Bay area. The staff and amenities, including the pro shop and restaurant, receive positive feedback, though some visitors experience slow play and occasional customer service issues. Staff works hard to keep this course top notch. Greens look great and roll well, bunkers are beautiful after renovation and everything is well kept. This is truely the gem of public municipal golf courses. If you are in the area and have not tried this course you are missing out.

Wonderful, well-maintained course. Challenging layout while not being punishing on a very well-established course. Rates are very reasonable! Every bunker was also renovated in 2021. If you are looking for a course to play in the Green Bay area, you definitely need to give Brown County a look. If you are looking to make a tee time on a weekend, it is best to plan ahead and call after 6pm a week ahead of time.

This golf course is amazing and worth going out of your way for. A true parkland gem! A Larry Packard masterpiece. No roads or houses to see, just golf. Conditions are top notch! I love this course...

Amazed at what great condition the course was in. Tee box, fairways, and especially the greens. Not a lot of trouble, but enough bunkers to keep you honest. Greens roll true and are the most challenging aspect of the course.m, in my opinion. Bunkers were in great shape too! Can’t believe they only charged me $27 twilight rate. Highly recommend.

Hands down the best course in the area - can be a little slow on weekends and during peak times, but it's worth it even when play is a bit slower.

Still the best and most beautiful course I've played anywhere other than Kinsbarns in Scotland but at 1/10th the Kingsbarns fee.

Brown County can get really soft on the back 9, but the course offers good value for an enjoyable round of golf. The layout is nice. Hole 4, 9 and 11 are best holes on course. Left side of the 18th needs to be cleared out.

Busy course to get on...the quality speaks for itself. Fun course to play. Nice pro shop and clubhouse with a logo ball. Rates seemed to match quality. Fairways cut well and greens were tended to well. I enjoyed played a round here. A few holes and layouts were a touch tight and not clear to follow but overall the course was laid out quite well. Worth the stop to check out that is off the beaten path. Wouldve loved to see electric carts with gps at this course if it could fund it.

Holy.....freaking.......slow......play....way to stack the tee sheets. Also saw the cart girl one time that whole round. I'm assuming she avoided us because we complained about the slow play and when we asked about the ranger. The ranger BTW was seen once and was just sitting in his cart not doing his job. What a joke.

First off I want to say that the course itself was great but that's about the only thing good about the place. I had made a tee time online on a Sunday for 2. When we hooked our tee time it said 47 per person was due when we checked in which is reasonable for 18. When we got there we were informed that it was actually 62 per person?!?! We did pay for the 18 holes since we were already there. The place was way overbooked and it took us 2 and a half hours to play 9!! That's insane woth 2 people. Since we had plans later that night and couldn't afford the time to play another 2 and a half hours w…

Customer service was sub par. Ranger yelled at us for playing as a group when the group in front of us was playing slow and holding us up. Proceeded to respect them telling us to split up and understanding no groups larger than 4 can play together despite the slow play in front of us. Placed extra emphasis on space between our group. Meanwhile one of our group members were in the pro shop waiting to join up with us on the back 9 when he overheard the ranger saying we were confrontational and talking back to him and saying we were yelling back at him. Will not be coming back or recommending thi…
