Brooklea Golf & Country Club

We had our wedding here earlier this month and could not recommend it enough. Daryl was very helpful throughout the entire planning process and helped make our day seamless. The outdoor ceremony space and the reception area were beautiful and the day was better than we could have ever imagined. The staff were great and the food was delicious. We had our wedding at Brooklea in June, and we cannot recommend them enough!! The first time we toured Brooklea, we fell in love with the venue and knew it was the perfect fit for us. Darryl was so helpful throughout the whole planning process and made it so fun and easy for us. He was always quick to respond with our many questions and helped guide us through everything. I always enjoy coming here, the course is in great condition, the sandwiches are tasty and Amy and Maya in the pro shop are extremely helpful!

My wife Peri and I had our wedding reception at Brooklea, and we cannot say how pleased we are to have done so. Darryl and his staff went above and beyond our expectations with everything. They were great to work with, and very accommodating. The food was delicious, the ballroom looked fantastic. We most definitely would recommend any type of event here. Played Brooklea last month for the first time in couple years. Its a good course but there is a lot of construction and maintenance going on so one hole is a par 3 60yrd? and couple other holes had heavy equipment blocking fairways, but its an average course.. the sand traps are not maintained and the range is across a busy street so its not really accessible. However, this time I do feel the fairways were not as hard and rough and were in better shape than I remember last time. Staff is nice and food is also pretty good.

If I could give this place negative stars I would… this place is awful since the new ownership. They absolutely pack the golf course so it’s backed up. Takes 3-4hrs to play 9 holes. They search your bags like you’re a prisoner…. The owners are ignorant. Honestly do not golf here unless you want to spend an entire day playing 9 holes. The tee times are like every 3 minutes. You get 3-4 sets of four golfers every hole! It’s insane. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Our family’s favourite course! So many great people and programs offered that suit us! Our kids absolutely loved the junior camp last summer! We enjoy playing the Academy 9 in the evenings when it’s less busy the greens are always running pure and it’s a little slower paced for us novice golfers! Amy and Daryl in the golf shop are always welcoming, friendly and full of smiles which adds to warm inviting atmosphere that’s makes everyone visit truly special for our family! The owners are so nice with our kids and are always offering them treats! Needless to say we will back and we LOVE Brooklea!

My family and me have always had an amazing experience at Brooklea! Our kids participate in the Summer Golf Camps and love it year after year! The staff in the Golf Shop are very friendly and are always bending over backwards to accommodate our peculiar requests! Daryl and Amy are awesome! Nothing but great things to say!

My hubby and I had our wedding at Brooklea Sept 28, 2024. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Daryl was fabulous in helping us plan our event and everything went off without a hitch! The food was delicious and we were so pleased with how accommodating the staff were in order to meet our guests needs. Daryl and Radhika were so easy and great to work with to coordinate our holiday event. They were flexible with the menu, allowing us input, and put great attention to detail to set up our event. We loved the graphic on the TV welcoming us! We look forward to having more events here! Thank you!

What has happened to Brooklea golf course? They don’t answer the phone. I’ve been golfing for 50 years and I have never heard of a golf course that doesn’t answer their phone. I’m just trying to book 9 holes on the academy course for the family and to book on line they want me to pay in full up front. That’s crazy. If there is a full rainout we only get a rain check yet i live 2 hours away and am only up for this weekend. Since this is cottage country i’m sure i’m not the only one in that situation. This is very frustrating.

Great staff, and the Tuesday golf special is awesome. $40 for 18 holes is amazing. Course needs some upkeep, but they offer great rates
