I had a great time playing a course I hadn't played in 20+ years. Cart paths could use some work. The fairways needed some water. The mountains are beautiful. Staff very nice. Ice cold water in club house was a nice feature.

First time playing this year. Very windy today but good time was had by all. Really good hamburgers and fries fresh and hot off the grill. Course was in good shape.

Went there to the pool today for the 4th. Went last week as well . The staff has shown nothing but courtesy and hospitality. It's a ton of fun for the kids and relaxing for us parents. Plenty of parking on both sides of the pool . Decently priced and moderate options from the snack bar. They had the boom box going and even a fun little competition.

Great course, even for mid-October. Grounds keepers were still taking care of the greens and keeping up maintenance on the course. Amazing views at just about every hole. Will definitely be back!

Course in excellent condition and open to the public. Take the VSGA card and went round in less than 4 hours. Highly recommended.

2025: New management made everything better! Would highly recommend now. 2022: The course is in great shape, no doubt about that. However, it’s mismanaged. I like to golf as a single, as I have a family that I like to plan around. I called Thursday evening wanting to make a tee time for Saturday. I was told they do not make tee times for singles. That’s understandable. But, I was told by the pro shop to come out between 8:15-9:00am, as there was a gap and they would get me out. I called again last night, Friday night, to be sure that there was the gap still open. I was told it was. I come ou…

Super friendly staff. Showed up on a Holiday without a tee time and the Head Pro Jeff Sprinkle, said," We ain't in the business of turning people away, we'll get you on." Beautiful vista's all around the course. Course was in very good shape for late summer and in near drought conditions. The greens were in very good condition though it hadn't been long since they had punched them. This was my first time here and I will go back!

The course is looking beautiful this time of year. If you were thinking of playing it, go! Solid layout for a shorter course. You can go low, but it’s not going to give it up easy. Good drives and accurate shots will be required.

Botetourt Golf and Swim Club has come a long way since I last played it 15 years ago and is in good shape. The course features small and fast greens along with narrow fairways which makes accuracy a must when playing here. The views of the mountains on the course are amazing as well making Botetourt one of the more scenic courses in the Roanoke area.
