In summary

Bonita National Golf and Country Club is highly praised for its beautiful course, well-maintained grounds, and friendly staff. The community offers a variety of amenities, including multiple restaurants, a large pool, and a fitness center, all set within a picturesque environment with abundant wildlife. However, some concerns have been raised about membership policy transparency and ongoing construction noise, which may affect the tranquility of the area.

You're really not going to find a more beautiful course or a friendlier staff anywhere! And if you hit the poolside cafe you gotta get the poke bowl!

I am writing this review to share a serious concern regarding membership representation and policy enforcement at Bonita National Golf Club. Prior to purchasing my condo, I had a direct conversation with the Director of Membership and specifically asked whether my father and I would both qualify for memberships if he was listed on the deed. I was clearly told that this would not be an issue as long as he was on the deed. Relying on that representation, I proceeded with the purchase. My father is legally on the deed exactly as advised. After closing, the Board informed me that my father woul…

Very nice day at Bonita National. The course is nice and offers a wide range of tee options for every skill level. The black tees, at almost 7,000 yards, present a stout challenge. The condition of the course and maintenance of the grounds was very good. The parking was easy, the pool and pool areas looked inviting, and people were out playing tennis and enjoying the amenities. We had lunch and drinks in the restaurant on the 2nd floor of the clubhouse and both were excellent.

I live in this community. Great place. Main pool is fun and large, great poolside Cafe. 3 restaurants. I'm just a social member, so I can't review golf, but this is a typical country club getaway community east of i75 (Bonita Beach road, ends in this community going east). We have gators, turkeys, bobcats, and other cool wildlife. I'm relatively young living here, so many are retired. Having a 14 yr old, there isn't alot for kids. But otherwise, it's safe and secure. Food is good. Service is good. Picked a great place to live.

Awesome Community and Country Club! A tremendous Gordon Lewis golf course with a beautiful country club and resort pool. 3 restaurants and a great workout facility! This is an active community with Golf, Tennis and exercise programs! Multiple styles of houses located in the community and surrounded by a nature preserve. Mother Nature lives here! Tons of birds and other wildlife! This is a quiet area unless the tree frogs are serenading you!

Overall love the community. My grandparents have a place here and I have a great time every time I visit. Whenever on a walk, most people say a form of hello which gives a welcoming feel. The main amenities I use are the main pool, pool side cafe and fitness center, and I truly enjoy them all. I don’t golf but they have a golf course that looks nice. There are also tennis courts. All staff I’ve encountered have been friendly.

If you value peace and quiet, look elsewhere. The constant construction at Bonita National is absolutely ridiculous. There’s always something going on—painting, blowers, renovations—you name it. It creates an overwhelming amount of noise and feels like a complete waste of money. I strongly discourage anyone from moving into one of the condos here, especially with all the ongoing and upcoming “renovations.” They’re currently repainting the entire building, the parking lot, doors, and patios—just to match current trends. They even tore up the perfectly good pavers just to replace them with til…

Another beatiful private club. It's probably the easier course on this trip so far due to its wider and forgiven fairways. There are a few forced longs at tee shots which will add challenges to short hitters. Green speeds are acceptable although I prefer faster greens. I felt deja wu a few times during the round because there are few very similar holes all categories.

Hadn't heard of this place before, but it's apparently the newest course in the area. TONS of construction going up. Temporary clubhouse. Gas powered carts. But the layout was good. It would be nicer if they had GPS. The course conditions and the greens were great. Appreciate the invite to play here and would play better my next time out. FORE!

★★★★★ Amazing Meal & Outstanding Gluten-Free Accommodations! We had an absolutely fantastic experience at the club ! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our celiac family members, ensuring a completely safe and delicious gluten-free dining experience. The food was incredible—fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. It’s rare to find a place that not only understands gluten-free needs but also takes extra care to provide a worry-free meal. The service was equally exceptional—attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring. We felt truly welcomed and appre…
