What People Say
In summary
Boca Greens Country Club is appreciated for its challenging layout and variety of holes, which some find enjoyable despite the course's current condition. However, many visitors express dissatisfaction with the maintenance of the greens and fairways, citing issues such as overgrown grass, sand-filled areas, and overall neglect. While the staff receives mixed reviews, with some noting attentive service, others report negative interactions and a lack of professionalism.

This place needs to be completely redeveloped! The Course has a nice layout with plenty of water and sands in good places but the fairways and greens were terrible! I would love to buy this place and open up a NA History Museum with a Clubhouse that had Live Bands, Art, Yoga, Meditation, Sports Room, Arcade, Stand Up Comics, Speaker Jams and Cool Other Activities for Recovering Addicts!

It's not worth $40, it seems cheap, but it's more crap than cheap. The only thing worthwhile about this course is the design if it were well maintained and the caps in the pro shop. This is the worst golf course I've ever been to. The tees look like bunkers with overgrown grass. The fairways are uneven and have sand holes everywhere, and when it rains, they fill with lakes and mud. The bunkers are real sand traps, filled with rocks everywhere, and they look more like a dried-up river. And finally, they should change the name of the greens and call them sand pits. This is the first time I've…

Great place to play if your not interested in playing Golf. Really sad. This is a really cool design and layout that is now something that doesn’t really resemble a golf course. I know its hard out there for everyone right now but the shape this place is in would be better served as a parking lot or some multi family housing. Ive played out here a bunch over the years and its always been a good time but idk why anyone would ever want to go attempt to play it in the condition it is now. I should have been concerned when I saw the $42 price tag but having played there many times I truly didn’t…

The greens at this course were awful! Weeds everywhere. It hasn't been taken care of very well. At $53, you can find a better course somewhere else. The best part, the starters. They were very attentive to everyone!

You get what you pay for. It's a very well designed course, but it's undoubtedly neglected. The greens are in shameful condition. You can expect sandy, patchy, and divot ridden greens. You're better off chipping at times. This is one of those time where the you can genuinely blame the course's condition for a poor round. It's a shame because the course is beautiful, but you have to look from very, very far away.

I was in town and decided to get in a relaxing 18 holes. Unfortunately, from the moment we arrived, the experience went downhill fast. Right off the bat, we ran into an extremely rude and condescending starter. The pro shop manager explicitly told us to grab any cart and head to the first tee. Despite following those exact instructions, we were confronted at the tee by the starter, who spoke down to both me and my playing partner and insisted we were “completely in the wrong.” Instead of communicating with his own staff, he chose to take it out on paying customers. Once we finally got out on…

Fun layout. The course conditions are a little rough right now but the staff was out in force working on getting it back in shape. Nice place to play with the grandkids.

Workers are disrespectful. No customer service, greens are in terrible shape sand everywhere on them, things growing on them. You can’t even notice that there’s fairways bc the grass has grown out. Only positive is the gentleman inside and nice lady in the snack shop.

The price gets it the three stars. Cheap and easy to get on for a reason. Not a bad late out but in bad shape. If anyone ever spends money on fixing it up. It could be a nice course.

I've been playing here for the last twenty five years. Over the last several years, and costs has begun to deteriorate. Today I played I was so disappointed. So many of the greens have been washed out. They almost look like sand traps, it's terrible. Tea boxes are in moderate shape. Fareways are in moderate shape. The greens totally impossible.I don't think i'm going to be playing here again for a while. Ford hazard, new people will be coming in after the season and they'll be closing it down for repair during the summer months. I hope this is true even if they start to charge higher rate for p…

I've played Boca Greens a handful of times over the last decade and it's always a challenge. This is one tough track with elevated greens that are usually well protected by bunkers in front. Bring your A game. The staff has always been pleasant and they have a noticeably great rapport with club members. The driving range has plenty of slots, small and large buckets available. It was $6 and $10 when we were there. Plenty of room on the practice green. The greens on the course weren't as fast as the practice green, they were fast but not over the top. The pace of play was ok once things got movi…

This course has a great set of holes with a variety of hazards, yardages, and doglegs. When I played in November the course needed some more maintenance. Many tee boxes were in bad condition, and none of the yardage markers were on the fairways. However all that, I still enjoyed the challenge and variety in the course.
