In summary

Blackstone Creek Golf Club receives praise for its scenic layout, friendly staff, and well-maintained greens, making it a pleasant course for golfers of varying skill levels. The course offers a mix of challenging holes with water hazards and open fairways, complemented by a nice clubhouse and dining options. However, some visitors have noted issues with pace of play, inconsistent maintenance of fairways and bunkers, and occasional management oversights, which can detract from the overall experience.

Really open couse during the fall season with no leaves on the trees. Small pro shop but nice restaurant connected to it. My 2nd time playing the course and I enjoyed it 🏌🏿‍♂️⛳️

Laid back, well kept course. Everyone was very friendly. Prices were great for a beginner.

None of the tee boxes were cut and trimmed, mud spurs all over the fairways and the greens looked like the moon with all the craters. Sand traps looked like they hadn’t been raked all season. After my round I went in to talk with someone about the conditions and the person said we’re the best course in the area and that was that. I highly recommend Kettle Hills if you’re in the area. It’s the best course for your money in the area.

Course is a joke. Paid $60 to play a course that was beat up, had greens that were beat up and inconsistent, and had uneven tee boxes. Pace of play was terrible. For $60, I was expecting a lot better. I understand prices will be higher due to demand. Some people also showed up in T-shirts and shorts, which is not proper golf attire. I understand it’s a public course, but at least have proper attire. Course had no driving range. Only practice area was a putting green. We also had to exchange golf carts because the first cart we got wasn’t safe to drive because the parking brake was not engaging…

Greens are good. Hole six has a bad set up. The course maintenance is not the best. The day I played there were clumps of grass clippings all over on every hole.

Started out poorly. The person working the register (I had to find him as he was playing a video game) said the rain checks we had were not good on weekends. This was not mentioned when they were given to us. He grudgingly accepted them and tossed into the register and returned to his video game. I had to follow him and ask twice if we could tee off and which nine. He mumbled something about 1st hole so we went out. There was no starter which is odd for a weekend. The course was rough. The bunkers were unplayable and there was damaged tree debris around the course. Goose poop was everywhere. T…

I am just an average golfer, and love this course. Very open fairways with medium speed greens. Be aware that there are water hazards on quite a few holes and a couple you need to clear from the tees, but nothing too crazy if you can carry 90- 120yds in the air. Fairways and greens are nicely manicured and very polite staff!

Very challenging course with plenty of water to keep you on point.

I grew up on this course. So am kinda partial. Holes 4 thru 7 are my favorite. Lots of old growth trees to fascinate and frustrate.

The course itself is decent and the bar at the clubhouse is nice with good staff. But the course was so backed up we had to wait 30 minutes past our tee time to start and the starter just seemed to give up and walked away. The front 9 took 2.5 hours to complete once we started…talking to a few staff members that seems to be the standard, probably won’t be back because of that.

Decent course and layout but fairways were a little rough. Pro shop a little small but ok. Course layout and roll wasn't bad. Sandtraps in good shape. Course challenges were there with water and many bends around. Greens were in pretty good shape overall and rolled well. A good number of the fairways were a little round around the edges about the approach shot areas; much of it may be was storm damage but couldn't tell. Tee boxes were in good shape. Golf carts were mediocre. Rates were ok for this course. I'd like to stop back another time and play again.
