In summary

Ben Geren Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained fairways and greens, affordable pricing, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for golfers of all skill levels. The 27-hole layout offers a good variety of play, and the facilities, including a pro shop and practice areas, are well-regarded. However, some visitors have noted issues with drainage after rain and inconsistent customer service, which can detract from the overall experience.

Great public track! Not the most manicured golf course, but very enjoyable to play. Very good gold course to walk.

Our experience at Ben Geren Golf Course was truly memorable, albeit with a minor challenge. Unfortunately, during our visit, we encountered a "car path only" situation. This restriction limited our ability to explore the entire course as we would have liked. However, even with this restriction, the beauty and quality of the course shone through. The meticulously maintained fairways and greens still provided an enjoyable golfing experience. We appreciated the staff's efforts to maintain the course in such good condition. The staff remained friendly and accommodating, despite the restrictions,…

Me and my buddies come here fairly often. We usually play willow yet all the courses are absolutely beautiful. Service is amazing, greens and fairways are well kept. Courses are challenging yet fun to play on. Prices are amazingly affordable. Would absolutely recommend this course to anyone looking for one.

The best pool and facilities! Close to downtown Ft Smith. Great bicycle path, family friendly! Trees haven't grown up in the rv area, but there are mature trees in some areas. Love the pavillion!

For a club that has to take care of 27 unique holes the course is well taken care of, and the staff is friendly enough. Only down said I can think of is the cart speed.

Wow, this place was nice. Especially for the money, you are getting a great deal playing at this 27 hole track. The pro shop is nice, and has a courteous and professional staff working at the counter. The course had great pace of play, and was manicured nicely and was in just gorgeous condition. Everything was lush and full. I wish I would have had more time while passing through Arkansas, would certainly recommend you stop by here to play golf.

Staff was courteous, greens were bristly and lots of break. Course was in very good shape, especially since we've had so little rain lately.

The gentlemen in the pro shop were very pleasant, made me feel welcome! Pro shop is stocked well with plenty of hats, shirts, logo merchandise, golf bags, sunglasses, etc. Willow and Silo greens were awesome with no bad areas at all. They putted straighter than what you read in the break. Very Firm I.e. play for the front of the green. It is still a public course so fairways had some rough spots but it’s still early in the year for bermuda. The natural areas with prairie grass and wildflowers are gorgeous! I walked 18 holes and paid $14....what a deal!

It was a nice golf course, the balls are cheap to get. And the drive range was alright that is what I went and did that day and the course is very clean the parking lot could have been better. The staff looked like they were having fun they were laughing and smiling so I felt very comfortable while I played.u can rent golf carts their and golf clubs.

This rating is for the mountain bike trail only. Lots of low areas that hold water. Drainage could be improved. Much of the trail was a gutter. It was, however, very nicely trimmed and well maintained. A couple nice man-made features. Too bad the drainage is so lacking that it pulls my rating down so low. If the drainage issue was fixed the trail could be a 3 rating.

It is kept well and has nice practice facilities. You won't find drinking water out on the courses, so bring your own cooler and don't let them stop you. Sometimes, the front desk is grumpy, so take your own joy with you.😀
