In summary

Bell Nob Golf Course is widely praised for its well-maintained, lush fairways and fast greens, offering a scenic and challenging links-style layout that integrates beautifully with the Wyoming landscape. The staff is frequently highlighted for their friendliness and professionalism, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While most find the pricing reasonable, a few visitors have noted higher costs for greens fees and refreshments.

Beautiful open links style course. Grounds crew does an amazing job. Beautiful contrast between golf course and native country. The greens are large and fast and the fairways lush and full. I’ve never played here when it didn’t look great! Rates are as reasonable as you’ll find. Great Wyoming course. We’ll be back

Always love playing this course. It's a great place to take customers and they host pretty decent tournaments here too. Very good staff and a well maintained course (as long as you don't mind antelope "tracks").

Spent over a week in Gillette with family and golfed this course 4-5 times - absolutely love the course. From t-box to greens, great conditions! Member of a country club where I live and Bell Knob beats it! No need for marshals-good pace. Friendliest staff behind the counter - she was upbeat and engaging! Well worth the price - great golfing experience!

The course was in great shape in early October 2018 and the new facilities are awesome. The only reason it's a 4-star from this out-of-towner was due to the cost of greens fees. Will definitely attempt to golf here again the next time I'm in Gillette.

Very links style course. Carved out of the parries of WY. Many elevated greens make for a challenge on getting the distance right from the fairway. If the wind is blowing good luck on low score. Great Bar and food.

Really good conditions, with special comment on the pretty lush fairways and smooth greens. Impressed by how few pitch marks there were on the greens. Some private golf courses have way more scars on their greens. Friendly pro shop staff. Chatted with Trent Dillinger, Assistant Superintendent and it is clear they take care of this course. Pricing is reasonable and food and choice of beer on tap is excellent. Bell Nob deserves your playing time.

We made a trip just to play a round of golf. We were not disappointed, first ever chipping over 3 antelopes to get to the green. Course was challenging and different from the flat fairways in New Mexico. No wind on the day we played, awesome.

Overall I had a great experience here. It was my first time golfing and I appreciated the friendliness of the staff. The course was very well taken care of and overall and enjoyable experience. There were only a couple of drawbacks for me. First, it was rather expensive, I understand that it takes a lot of money to run a golf course but everything seemed expensive. It was around $75 for 18 holes and for a 12 pack of PBR it was $24. The other drawback was an experience with a patron rather than the business itself. My buddy walked in to the bar to get more beer after our first 9 holes and the f…

I stopped in to the pro shop to purchase a Bell Nob course logo golf ball. Unfortunately at the time they were out of stock and waiting for the new stock to arrive. I was traveling through on vacation and had emailed ahead that I planned to stop. I have over 400 logo golf balls in my collection and was trying to add many from my vacation trip from Cincinnati to Yellowstone and back. Cameron Brown came out from his office to thank me for stopping and to apologize that they did not have the logo balls in stock. Instead, he went back into his office and brought out 5 other logo balls from various…

This is a very nice course. The clubhouse is brand new with an amazing patio & the Range Bar & Restaurant is some of the best food in town. The pro shop carries clothing & shoes & clubs for men, women & kids. One of my favorite places to go.

Pretty nice course. They do a good job to keep it up and keep it nice shape. Considering it’s Wyoming and the population of Gillette, this one of the nicest courses in the area.
