The course offers a good balance of challenging and forgiving holes, with competitive pricing compared to nearby options. Avondale is a beautiful and challengingl 18 old course. We enjoy playing here every summer when we visit. Greens and fairways are vell maintained. The golf carts are always perfectly clean and ready to go. The clubhouse and restaurant are top notch. Recommended!

Played this course a few weeks ago, I had purchased the Golf Visa 2 for 1 card for NB and it was the bonus courses. I had no idea what I was in for as the courses near my home town had a brutally hot summer and most fairways were burnt and greens were cement like. I arrived to the course and was so surprised by the lush green fairways and scenery. The staff at the course make you feel at home as soon as you walk into the pro shop with big smiles and a friendly handshake. The course was in beautiful shape, fairways you could take a divot without ruining your wrist or club, greens for the most p…

Played here recently and it was a nice round of golf at a fair price I just wish they had a replay rate so I could play there twice a day without feeling like I was overpaying. Most places I go to usually offer a replay rate at the price of a power cart seat. The course itself was in really good shape but a little damp in spots (it had rained a couple of days before (Ida was her name I believe) so that was understandable. Greens and fairways were in excellent condition; tee boxes were ample and provided plenty of room. I rarely complain that there is too much sand in a bunker but there was at…

Well maintained course. Considering it's one of PEI's non-waterfront courses, it's exceptionally pretty. Especially this time if year. Bugs can be thick in the summer, but bring your bug spray and this course is definitely worth putting on your list.

So at a mature age for beginner golfer , can say nothing but great experience with instruction from their instructor / pro David. Most patient and with great advice/ direction. For the new or experiences golfer. Having played the course would say , welcoming to a new golfer and challenging to an experience golfer. Please enjoy the welcoming pro shop people and your golfing rounds..

A fun, challenging Links-style course 15 minutes from our hotel in Montague, PE. It's a relatively short course, but is nicely balanced with some fairways being forgiving and others featuring sand at driving distances... it requires some thought, which is fun. The greens were in really good shape and they're quite fast - my brother in law and I were fighting to get the feel of the pace of these greens all round ;) What we found most impressive was the price for a round in peak season at peak time (9:30 tee off). Much more competitive than the Dundarave/Brudenell courses nearby, though in fai…

2nd time playing here. Great course layout which is very well maintained. Welcoming and friendly staff makes it a great place to play. Course is up for sale so I hope whomever buys it keeps it the same way. Price to play is very reasonable here too btw.

Golfed for the first time last week. The course is nicely maintained and green and has a good mix of bunkers and water hazards. Will return!

I really enjoy this course. I typically play just 9 holes and love to walk and carry my own.bag. This is a good course for walking. I enjoy that you can play most holes a variety of ways. I really enjoy how the course staff treats you. I have played with several members and they are quite welcoming. This course should be on everyone's list.
