Apple Valley Golf Club is highly praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout with elevation changes, and friendly staff. The greens are noted for their excellent condition, and the scenic setting adds to the overall experience. While many enjoy the amenities and find the course a great value, some visitors have mentioned issues with pace of play and occasional management concerns.

Haven't been here in a long time, still a great course with incredible conditions. The staff is very friendly and helpful, prices are about right where they should be. Course has several elevation changes and the large greens are protected by challenging bunkers. Definitely a must play if in the area.

Not really anything bad you can say. Proshop and clubhouse are well stocked with lots of options. Greens are true and fast. Breaks are deceptive and challenging. Beautiful landscape. One of my favorite courses. Nice lush fairways, rough is thick in most places. Challenging but playable. Can't be beat for the cost. Im not one to normally give 5 stars but this place deserves it.

I started playing Apple Valley in 1979. Far different course back then, but the design and key components are the same today (they used to have railroad ties installed vertically on some holes, to create a hardscape in the side of the green. Absolutely beautiful and challenging, but not good to ricochet a ball off of if you thin one). I played today after many years away and it is still a wonderful experience. The course design and layout is well-done, and the grounds are beautiful. There's a true driving range and nice putting green. The course can play long from the tips, but it is fair and…

This public course is a gem in Ohio, absolutely gorgeous. From the open front 9 to the right back 9, I really enjoyed playing 18. The pace of play was a little slow with the front nine taking three hours, but not much the course can do.

We played there this weekend and course was green and in solid shape. We dodged the rain drops and had a fun round. The place was packed but pace was fairly good. I really enjoyed playing here

Incredibly well kept and excellent greens. There is not a better course you will play for the price. Great food in the clubhouse as well with a full breakfast menu served.

For my first time playing this course, I had a really great experience. The greens were pure, the weather was wonderful, and my friend and I managed to shoot -3 in a two man scramble. The course was definitely not in its best condition, but it was still better than most places I am used to. The reason I am leaving one star is the management. After finishing a full 18 holes in approximately 4 hours, the course pro came up and told us we were both playing too slow and lowering the IQ of the course based upon the location we came from. Whether the course pro intended that to be a compliment, it w…

Don't let the beautiful signature hole convince you to play here. The greens are real good and fast and the course is in decent shape. The management of the course is an entirely different story. They do nothing to manage the pace of play or have common sense on who they let out. Seeing a 5 some going off of 10 should have been ta clue... We were 2 holes behind six people. Looked to be kids under 10. They were out of control. The ranger did nothing and the first nine took over 2.5 hours. We asked at the turn about the situation and the guy said they have no control who plays and said it is…

Great course. 9/10. Only reason for the point deduction is there is not enough good places to take a leak. Groundskeepers: We need ya to throw a few gratuitous bushes out there. Would recommend.

Golf course in decent shape. Few bare/burnt spots in a few fairways but overall tees/greens were top notch! Extremely friendly staff in pro shop and grill room. Pace of play was solid for a busy Saturday. 4 hours 25 mins with a short stop at turn. However lost a star on rating due to few spots in fairways and zero water to drink. They have a couple vending machines for $3+ for a bottle of water. Absolutely absurd no water coolers. Did have a water pipe on #7 tee but no luck to turn on to drink or water towels. Completely unacceptable in my opinion especially in hot and humid summer months. Gri…
