Beautiful course, great staff, family owned, and you feel like family. Great prices!

Played this course today 11/11, greens were in great shape and fairways not bad considering how late in the season it is. Not an overly challenging course except for a few water holes and some sloping greens. Pro shop staff and bartender were very pleasant. Will definitely play here again!

The lady at the counter was super nice and very personable, the course is very well taken care of. The fairways and greens are manicured very well, even off the fairways was very playable. I don't see why there are all these negative comments about how rude the workers are and how they come out and search your bags. They let us bring our backpack cooler as long as no outside alcohol is in there and I can understand that. I'd given it 5 stars but my only complaint was most of the greens are quite small but played very well. I'd definitely go back and play there again. Prices were very fair, the…

Golf course has great green, otherwise pretty plain. Paid $54 for 2 seniors and got caught in a huge thunderstorm after 9. The course was unplayable, greens and fairways were totally flooded. They would not give us a rain check for 9, gave us a $8 refund. Poor customer service. Will not be back for a while.

We were greeted warmly at the door and shown to the first tee. Told us if we had any questions to ask. Beautiful views from the top of the hill and challenging holes. Was not sure what to expect when we first arrived but I would golf here again as we had a great time!

Great coarse. Well kept greens. The only complaint I have is tee time. The times aren't monitored. The people behind me caught up too soon. I felt i was rushed The whole game. This was my first time there, and it was a bad experience. Did not enjoy it

Great course. Had a great round and time. Just don't bring your own beer like every other course allows and deals with. The way it was handled definitely left a bad taste in our mouths but it is what it is. Look forward to playing there again.

Horrible customer service. The second we walked in the “pro” shop they were being rude for no reason. Then basically stalked us until we went out to play. We were thankful we were away from the shop and within 6 holes they sent a guy out to watch us. He slowly was driving around us in circles even while we were trying to hit. Pretty crazy treatment for the absolute worst golf course you can find in a 50 mile radius. Horrible greens, hardly a fairway, and patches all over the course. I not only would not recommend going here, ive told almost everyone I know to make sure NOT to go here.

We had a large group of golfers and had a few golfers that brought alcohol on the course (which admittedly was not allowed). The issue was the way that they handled the problem. Very rude workers grabbed the cooler from the cart and were completely arrogant with their treatment of our group. I have been golfing for 40+ years and have always had flexibility in alcohol rules (and respect in handling it) but Appalachian treated a group of 11 40 to 50 year old men poorly. Very Rude customer service and unwelcoming people. Additionally they over charged some of our party for playing 18 holes when t…

Nice 18 hole course! Wish it were closer to my home but thats my problem. Very friendly staff :) , Course was in nice shape. Sand traps, water hazards, large greens-enjoyed playing here! [EDIT] Lisa - you are fabulous. I made the 50 mile round trip only to forget wallet. She let me play. Debt repaid. I keep finding golf balls in the woods here. They say return to Kyle . Hmmm? (Lol- I had to bust my friend)

The Appalachian golf course is beautiful course - don’t get me wrong, but the customer service is completely awful. Don’t show up to this golf course unless you have the grit to handle a rude pro shop attendant. This lady must’ve woke up on the wrong side of the bed because she, without warning, came over and started shaking our bags to look for coolers. She then gave us an immature discourse on how they don’t appreciate the outside alcohol (welcome to the golf business ma’am, is this new to you)? Atleast have the decency to take us out to dinner before you skrew us. WILL NOT BE COMING HERE…
